Rackets
Manufacturer specs for popular frames (unstrung weight). Click a dot to highlight that model in the table.
Head size
100 sq in and up gives a bigger sweet spot, more forgiveness and more power. 95–98 sq in gives sharper control and feel.
Weight
285–300 g swings easily. 305–320 g is more stable and drives through the ball. Pros often add lead tape to go past 330 g.
String pattern
Open patterns like 16×19 help spin and pop. Dense 18×20 patterns help control and make strings last longer.
Balance
Head-light frames are quicker at the net. Head-heavy frames add plow-through to a light racket.
